About her
Hello - where to begin?! I have a good sense of humour which helps in all sorts of situations and I’ve been described as gentle and caring - definitely an optimist, happy but something/someone is missing to make my life complete. I adore the countryside - definitely NOT a city person. I am so appreciative of nature, animals and wildlife and in particular our beautiful British countryside, much of which I have still to explore. I enjoy walks in the countryside, exploring small towns and villages with quaint shops, cafes and country pubs. Belong to a Book Club- lots of chat, not a lot about the books. I'm learning how to garden so any tips would be good! I enjoy the cinema, theatre, concerts, village activities and all that our local country town has to offer including wonderful festivals. I volunteer at our local theatre - icecream duty mainly😊 I’ve recently joined a choir which is fun - I think, not sure! My dress code is casual but I love to dress up when the occasion arises. I eat healthily, mostly vegetarian and fish - but enjoy dark chocolate and wine! I keep fit by walking, zumba, pilates and yoga (usually followed by a cappuccino). People fascinate me - my school report said I have “a lively and inquisitive mind” ! Family and friends are extremely important to me and I have lovely grandchildren whom I adore. I see them as often as I can but they live a long distance away so not as often as I’d like. I enjoy socialising and meeting friends, old and new. So this is me - can’t think of anything else to put!

Someone who enjoys the countryside - the outdoors, who appreciates family and friends. Who would like to join me in going to local events - the theatre, cinema. Out to eat, weekend jaunts. Even just to stay in! Although I have lots of friends, it’s not the same as having a partner, or special friend. It’s difficult to put into words - so much easier to meet up, chat and see what happens!
