About her
Sunny and smiley, I love to laugh and dance and sing. Not a chatterbox but I love people who are. I've had long relationships and long periods of being alone but I'm never lonely,always happy in my own skin. I took voluntary severance after a long career in architecture with the local authority but days are easily filled with singing, reading and baking. I'm in two choirs and I love cruise holidays and going out for meals. I was a regular on the dance floor but I had a car accident in 2016 and broke my leg quite badly. I've recovered really well and I'm walking easily now though I do limp slightly when I'm tired. Driving is however a massive phobia for me now.
I go to Silver Swans ballet classes which is much harder than it looks , and I'm learning Spanish and French. It's all good fun!
I'm very interested in green issues and animal welfare. Healthy eating is very important to me. I never eat meat, rarely drink, and try to avoid processed food. I do love a Thai curry and Indian dishes.
I've been single for a long time. I've had boyfriends, of course, but I haven't lived with a man since 1994(!!)so I'm not sure if that could ever be an option for me now as I am so used to my own space. Loving friends is what I'm looking for; days out, holidays, wining and dining, theatre trips, movie nights; all the regular couply things.
I'm looking to relocate in the near future. I was considering Spain but this Brexit business has scared me, frankly. So somewhere coastal in the uk probably. I dream of sea views, coastal walks and sandy beaches. As long as there's a u3a and a choir to join I can happily restart my life. If there's a man in that future, that would be lovely.

I'm looking for someone easy going, someone to laugh with, and relax with. Taller than me (that's easy!!) and slim preferably. Someone arty, happy and confident. He would have to be a socialist and environmentally friendly! :-) It's hard to describe an ideal because love isn't about boxes being ticked, it's about personality and chemistry. I do know that it's worth searching for. There's nothing like it when it's real. :-)
