I am quiet, thoughtful and laid-back with a good sense of humour. I am described as being kind-hearted and generous. I have a youthful outlook on life. Not afraid of displaying affection in public.
My likes include walking in the countryside (especially if there is a good pub at the end of it), and definitely Chocolate!
I like travelling to new places and exploring. I'm off to Scotland this summer. A place I've been waiting to go to for years. The journey is as important as the destination! I have a yearning for travelling in the UK for a few months with a travelling companion and hopefully more. (My job gives me scope to do it.). Off the beaten track - a sense of the adventure is something looked for in that special person who wants to accompany me.
I belong to an activity group where I have plenty of friends and I quite often take the lead for one of the many varied activities from weekend trips in the UK and Europe to Musical Festivals.
My interests include Caravan/Campervan/Camping trips with rambling and foraging along the way! (Although travel and staying at 5 star accommodation is not excluded!) I enjoy cooking and experimenting with new recipes, Vegetable/fruit gardening and DIY.
I also enjoy trips to the Theatre, plays, comedy shows and music and literature/quieter festivals.
