Will try anything (at least once ) and being ever the eternal optimist truly believe in the maxim - 'if you're not in it - you can't win it'. Always willing to take a (calculated) risk. This makes me sound a bit racy perhaps - but I'm not at all - preferring quieter occupations and interests . I've never joined facebook or twitter and don't see the need to - in fact I'm a bit of a technophobe preferring to spend my time on other pursuits. Quite happy to leave my mobile phone at home and don't see the need to feel constantly connected . I love cooking, eating, drinking, creating and making things with my hands. My ideal holiday would be a week skiing in Europe followed immediately by a week exploring ancient sites in a hot country !

Ideally I would prefer someone I can look up to - (in stature as well as achievement) I would like to be a relationship where we challenge each other in a friendly easy going way. I am fairly traditional in that I want a man who takes the lead and is not afraid to do so.......but also a man who is not afraid to lose at a board game. I need someone who respects and embraces me, my femininity and my values and in return I will totally respect his position.
