About her
I have a natural curiosity about human behaviour and life is always interesting for me. I believe in fate and have an optimistic outlook on life. Friends describe me as kind, confident, with a great sense of humour, attractive, loyal, caring, a good friend and listener, someone who enjoys life to the full and knows how to have fun (apparently I didn't need to bribe them to say these either!). I love music and will surround myself with it, both in the car and in my home though I do have eclectic tastes which ranges from rock, blues to classical and opera (I'm as happy attending/watching a rock concert as attending/watching an opera/play/ballet). My sons say if they win the lottery they will buy me an apartment across from the O2 in London as I seem to be there quite a bit going to concerts! My two sons are grown (with their own lives) plus three grandchildren and they play a big part in my life.
I am a sociable person and enjoy spending time with friends and family but I also appreciate quiet "me" times, enjoying my home, own space and being independent. I believe life is a journey and no matter our age we can and should keep on learning and experiencing all life has to offer. I can often be very spontaneous and just "jump" which at times can be a problem! I think in my mind I am still in my mid-forties!! I still work two days a week supporting clients with mental health issues, after having spent quite some years working with clients and their families around substance misuse issues. I have enjoyed working within this field and remain forever curious (and completely non- judgemental I might add) why people follow a particular lifestyle.
I enjoy music, theatre, films, going out to restaurants/pubs, gigs, good company/conversation, travel, visiting historical houses/gardens, all sorts of activities really. I have a young attitude to life with friends of varying ages and can never imagine a time when I stop being curious about life and all its intricacies.

Not sure there is such a thing as an "ideal match" as opposites can attract but it would be nice to meet someone who shares my curiosity of life, good conversation, has a sense of humour and can make me laugh.
Someone who is confident, happy with their life, who can be a friend, companion, willing to share some of life's adventures but savours their own individuality and space. Maybe someone who isn't necessarily looking for a long term relationship but just wants a friend to socialise with.
