About her
I have a compassionate, positive, strong, independent outlook on life. Things rightly or wrongly happen for a reason and learning from life experiences has helped me get through the tough times. I am therefore drawn to positive, can do personalities. I love to walk and explore what is around the next corner, not always a good idea, as can make a 5 mile walk turn into a wet, muddy, 10 mile one. Following redundancy early last year I now have several volunteering roles which I really enjoy.
To relax I love to read, anything. Especially on a warm sunny veranda somewhere. Getting into Jazz music and enjoyed some live concerts before the pandemic. Really enjoy travel (Australia & Portugal are a major part of my life) and exploring new cities, but not too keen on museums! I enjoy watching sport, especially rugby.

A thoughtful, warm, positive, gentleman who can wear jeans or a suit with equal style. Someone who enjoys being busy but knows how to switch off and relax and enjoy life. Family and friends are important to me so I would look for that connection too. I enjoy a good glass of wine and good food and don't just eat to live, that's boring, but have a healthy approach to all things, so anyone with the same outlook would be important. Someone who wants to explore, watch, taste, what the world has to offer before it's too late and not let age hold them back. I have never smoked, can't bear the smell or being near anyone who does.
