This is the bit I wasn't looking forward to - I'm much better with words, face to face than in writing! But at the risk of sounding trite and clichéd here goes anyway...
My friends would describe me as loyal, caring, optimistic, honest and good humoured. I also know that I'm very independent, romantic (given the opportunity) and can be stubborn at times! I've been told that I'm quite hard to get to know at first meeting, and I'm aware that I'm a bit like a crab - the outside shell may be a bit hard to crack but the inside is soft and squidgy! :)
I have good friends that I've known for many years and even though we may not see each other that often, when we do it's like we saw each other yesterday.
I love the theatre, travel, music, good food, animals - and programmes like 'Have I Got News for You' and R4 'News quiz' make me laugh.

Initially I'd like to find someone to share things with - a good film, the theatre, a glass of wine, a nice meal, or a day out, walk in the country. All the things that are more enjoyable when there's someone to say 'wasn't that great' to!
