I married late in life but my second wife died recently.
I have been a shopkeeper, a teacher, and a local government officer.
After I retired I had a busy life involving the U3A, the Ramblers, Amnesty, Greenpeace and Friends of the Earth. I slowed down after a heart problem and then getting married. I lived in Falmouth, Cornwall for 30 years but have moved to Hampshire to be nearer to my daughter and my grandson. I try to have a long holiday in the sun during the winter and I am looking for a companion, but I would also like to meet someone to enjoy social occasions nearby.
