About her
after an extraordinary set of circumstances over the last 15 years, i still do what I do best.. cook, paint and garden..and now I do them from a location that for UK is close to paradise. Thing is, though life is full and I have many chums and wonderful friends, i would love a special person in my life with whom to share adventures , walks, film/theatre/opera, food, appreciation of the arts and LAUGHTER!!!! ( my favourite pastime except for dancing, eating, witty communication, cooking and eating delicious food, walking in nature, appreciating the wierd and quirky,travel, discovering new places and aspects of self and others I wasnt aware of, singing, so much more!!) I am an optimystic person( spelt as I mean it to be spelt) and basically HAPPY..( happy is good.. as is colour in life) sensitive to negativity which gets me down so I avoid those" turned down at the corner " type of people( you know who you are!) Prefer to be under sky than indoors, moving rather than still and warm rather than cold.. but truly appreciate the polarities that make life what it is. I have lived a richly and intricately worked embroidery when it comes to life, the needle is still threaded for the next stitches to be outlined and then filled in..

a thoroughly decent humanbeing! with understanding of self and others.. and an open minded view on life, people and relationship. A man who loves being alive enough to want to take care of himself and his body by eating well and keeping well, whether that means walks, biking or going to the gym. An optimist with interests in the arts and mysteries of life.. and an interest and great love of things of beauty and nature.. prefers country to town, and whose idea of hell is a trip to the mal..( ok, Mall..)but whose eyes brighten at the prospect of a longish brisk walk over the hills or somewhere interesting and a good pub to stop at before walking back!
