It would be good to meet someone with whom to take an occasional outing, the sort of thing we find no fun on our own. A meal out perhaps, a trip to the theatre or cinema or maybe a country pub. I like the countryside and the sea, but perhaps not at this time of the year!
I like music, particularly from The Great American Song Book, but am not interested in sport, except for Wimbledon tennis as a spectator.

He should be tall (6 foot or so) and not too heavy, and please not bald! Most of all a pleasant personality, easy going, and able to show an interest in his date instead of talking about himself all the time.
