About him
I am a very fit, calm, intelligent, reliable, practical sort of person who is very warm, loving and considerate. Having moved to Cardiff from England some 40 odd years ago I do have a love of the beauty of the outdoors whether it be the coast, hills or mountains. Although not essential, I would love to meet an active, young at heart lady with whom I can share my particular pleasure in walking and exploring new places.
I consider myself to be reasonably articulate and enjoy good conversation, travel, exploring towns and cities, and am fascinated by history/architecture. Although I worked as a professional Engineer/IT manager, I have always been interested in the arts.
My interests also include cinema, good thought provoking/moving theatre, DIY, Pilates, yoga, gardening. Eating out is always enjoyable. My cooking is pretty good and is certainly healthy - most of the time! It would be a pleasure to cook with or for someone else.
In the past I have done some Ballroom Dancing. I tend to love warm places and have travelled to some interesting countries, and also fairly extensively within the UK.
I try keep in touch with my large extended distant family and enjoy every moment I can with my own children and grandchildren.
Part of my week has previously involved working with various Charities.
