Please - isn't there someone out there who wants to have a good time? I still enjoy the idea of the cheeky messages, flirtatious banter, the butterflies when you see someone who really attracts you, the sense of longing and the enjoyment of sharing both the big stuff and the little stuff. I have to say though I like someone to be able to string a sentence or two together without text speak and have at least a rudimentary grasp of grammar and English.
In most areas of my life - work, kids - very proud of them and both away from home now, money - I'm good - just need this bit sorting now if anyone would like to help? I would ask that you have a young outlook on life - I'm really not ready for pipe and slippers or soap watching... I'm not a lover of TV. Hankering after weekends in the Lakes and trips to Northumbrian beaches, going to festivals, finding gems of gardens, exploring castles and looking at pop up markets and galleries and museums. Revisiting Venice, Iceland, Crete or any Greek island come to that, going to who knows where to see and feel new things.
My children say I'm quirky, curious, inquisitive, impulsive and loving. They want me to be with someone who makes me happy. Me too! Anyone up for a bit of a go?
(I would also like to say that if anyone does contact me - I will always reply - even if it's to say you aren't for me. I think it takes a lot to say 'Hi' in this environment - especially if you are new to this and I also think it's pretty inconsiderate not to reply. Seriously how long does it take to type 'thanks but no thanks,' ? Can I also mention that I'm not on here 24/7 - the iPhone app seems to show that I am!
