About her
I am a recently retired senior manager living a quiet life in the glorious Northumberland countryside. I enjoy walking in the hills, photographing and watching birds and all things wildlife. I also enjoy good TV drama and theatre productions especially Shakespeare. I don't like parties or large social gatherings that require me to be nice to strangers, much preferring a pub lunch or quiet restaurant. I enjoy classical music although I cannot play an instrument, neither can I sing, dance, paint, cook or sew. I am not a political animal but if I had to describe that aspect of me I would say that I have left of centre tendencies. I support a number of charities and also do some volunteering at an animal rescue centre. I have one small dog which keeps me active and we are about to be joined by two feral kittens which should be interesting! Apparently I am generous, loyal, caring and have a good, but dryish sense of humour. My favourite places for holidays are the Lake District and the Highlands of Scotland although ageing knee joints are suggesting to me that I may need to seek out flatter terrain. Well that's about it and if you managed to read all this without losing the will to live, I applaud you!
