I'm a retired doctor, originally from the UK and returned here after 30 years in Australia.
I'm active mentally and reasonably fit.
Apart from the usual stuff like reading, listening to music , enjoying art, going to the movies, etc., I paint a bit, do lapidary and, above all, love to travel. I have eclectic interests. I love words and language and history and nature. I prefer tranquility to crowds.
I'm looking forward to enjoying life for about another 20 years or so - preferably with someone to share it!
