I enjoy regular walks with a group of friends and by myself both locally and in the Northern Hills and I lead several of these.I feel I am pretty easy going and fun to be with and at this stage of my life try not to waste time on unimportant things.My friends tell me I can be funny perhaps because I don't take myself to seriously. That said I am organised and try to keep my house and garden and finances in good order.Besides walking I keenly follow cycle racing(which was my sport for 25 years)cricket and have a passing interest in Norwich city.I like watching and reading British crime Dramas I left Essex in 1983 after working in the City of London for 20 years but still sound like I'm on holiday from Romford I have also lived and worked in Suffolk and Derbyshire. Likes,the countryside and the Norfolk Coast Sauvignon Blanc and trying different cheeses. Dislikes Beetroot, bags of dog mess hanging from hedgerows and local cats using my garden as a toilet and hunting ground for birds (actually i don't mind cats as individuals and i love dogs) I will go to any ends to avoid a traffic jam! It has taken a while to adjust to life without my wife of 40 years but I am a positive person and I would now like to meet at least a special friend which could hopefully also be romantic in nature,but slowly does it ! I have'nt had a date since 1973 ! out of practice!Have lost quite a bit of weight since my profile pictures but no idea how to change them must learn how to!
