I like to think that I am kind and thoughtful. I am positive and have a philosophical outlook on life. I have a good sense of humour although that may not be the same as yours! I enjoy seeing people laugh. And I like people to make me laugh.
I have been on my own now for over three years and have started a lot of new activities. I am learning bridge which I find challenging and very interesting. I started art classes, not really any good but I am told I am improving.
I have a wide range of interests. I play golf regularly but badly. I enjoy the theatre and cinema and I particularly like live music. I have broad tastes but especially like live bands featuring music from the 60s and 70s. I enjoy travel mainly around Europe and the UK but pre pandemic I visited Florida regularly to see friends. I enjoy visiting European capitals and have done well over 20 now. There are so many left to do and it would be nice to have someone to accompany me.
Life is now beginning to fill up again and I am enjoying new activities such as badminton and croquet so I keep busy but it would be so much nicer to have someone to share things with. I don’t necessarily expect common ground in terms of interests but I am always ready to try something new , at least once!
I read a lot and keep up to date with current affairs. I like museums and historical houses and am an NT member. I walk regularly with my local group.
I am no good at cooking or DIY!!
