About her
I love my Highland home, going out walking and exploring. I find great inspiration and peace in the natural world, and never get tired of seeing the seasons change - I enjoy taking photos and using them to do some artwork.
I do like to garden, growing flowers as well as producing good food - there's nothing better than home grown food shared with people I love. I am very lucky that I do have a good family around me.
It is important to me to make some positive contribution to the world, and I currently volunteer on a phone line to help people who are in desperate straits. I am comfortable wit this as I am a retired counsellor, and hopefully a good listener.
I am fascinated by ideas and love people who like a good debate. I read a lot and tend to have a few books on the go at once, and find listening to a wide range of music (there is very little I can't appreciate) good for my soul. I love traditional Scottish music, and especially a good celidh - I love to dance!

I am looking for someone with energy who likes to get out and explore the world, try new things and enjoy companionship. Kindness, empathy and good manners are more important to me than good looks. I would like a friendship that could perhaps turn into something more, maybe with someone who appreciates good communication and intimacy. I hope it is never too late in life to find a true soul mate, but a good friend would also be lovely. But then, maybe I could have both?
