On here hoping to find "the one" (just like most people, I assume). I am a happy person with a sense of well-being, which I find others pick up on.
I have a caring nature: I like - and give - affection, am tactile (like hugs and hand holding etc) and I am quite comfortable in my own skin. I think I'm Normal, but you tell me!
I'm positive and enthusiastic about life - and my friends tell me that I'm laid back (which is NOT code for lazy, just tolerant and not up-tight). I know that two people can have different views about something and that both are valid.

Someone genuine and open, who is comfortable in her own skin (maybe fairly laid-back). Wants to keep learning and exploring the world (not just geographically!) and enjoy what life has to offer.
A nice person! Someone with a reasonable sense of humour. I'm tempted to say "must love dogs".
It would be perfect if you are intelligent and knowledgeable (but not necessarily a brainiac); I also really like regular, normal people. I find large tattoos or piercings a bit of a turn-off (sorry). I'm also not keen on motorbikes or horses, if either are a big part of your life.
On the intimate front, it would be great if you usually express your emotions (especially the affectionate ones). This might be a case of ‘beware what you ask for’, I realise!
A lady about the same age as me (or just a bit younger) would be great - so we have more in common. It's always good if we know what the heck each other is talking about!
I'm hoping that you will not "high maintenance" and you give as well as take (not to say that you don't appreciate a bit of attention from your partner!). I think that would describe me too...
Hopefully we both live east of the M6. Ideally within 10 miles / 30 minutes of Alderley Edge / Prestbury / Macclesfield which would make it easier on a relationship, not having to struggle with distance and time too much. It's great to have the opportunity for spontaneity - able to see each other whenever we feel like a bit of fun and/or just a few moments together.
