About him
Hello girls, this is me, also advertised in Autotrader.
This is a vintage motor car, two previous owners (both deceased), and showing signs of its mileage. An optimistic car dealer might describe it as "in need of a little TLC". It was produced in 1945 and kept by its makers until 1962, when it was put on the market. A few potential owners took it out for a trial, but its first long-term owner took it over in 1975, keeping it until 2001 when it went back on the market. It was snapped up within a few months by its second owner, who treasured it until her death in 2018. It is now on the market again.
It has been used mostly for trips to the theatre, cinema, restaurants and airports as well as holidays within the UK. It almost knows its own way to the Peak District, Scotland, the South Coast and London, and will get you to these and other destinations effectively and comfortably.
This unit is showing signs of its very high mileage. The bodywork is well past its best, the suspension is a bit sloppy, and it has a tendency to high fuel consumption. The headlights are a bit dim, but the management computer still works well. The exhaust occasionally blows and the engine rumbles and grumbles sometimes. It was built for comfort rather than speed, so it doesn't accelerate too well, but it is reliable and always gets you there - it won't leave you stranded at the roadside. Its next owner will be expected to keep it for as long as it lasts.
