About her
The idea of having to present my personality in a few paragraphs in the hope of finding you is , in short, quite a daunting prospect but, here goes...
Friends say that I am a modest, loyal, caring, sensitive person with a great sense of humour.
I love the outdoors especially walks by the sea and the countryside with my beloved dog, Merlin. I enjoy travelling to new places and exploring different cultures. I am lucky enough to have travelled to four of the five continents and I'm still hoping to do more. That said, I am just as happy with a relaxing beach holiday to soak up the sun and enjoy a leisurely break.
I like to keep myself fit and healthy - while I can't pursue running anymore, I usually walk about thirty miles a week. I enjoy reading and, when the inspiration strikes, I love to paint - usually scenes from holidays. My family tell me I'm a great cook and I can turn my hand to most culinary dishes (with the exception of sushi!)
In my free time, I enjoy gardening, going to the theatre and the cinema. My musical taste is quite eclectic ranging from classical, rhythm and blues, ballads, to some rock. I am sociable and enjoy meeting new people but I am just as happy with a cosy night in to watch a good film and a decent red wine.
I am lucky to have a wonderful family with whom I love to spend time. I have a great relationship with my two children and I love spending time with my grandchildren. That said, I would love to find someone to share my life and what I have to offer.

I would like to share most of my interests with you especially walking, travel and enjoying good food.
