About him
I am told that I have a good sense of humour although a little sarcastic at times. Positive outlook on life and always smiling (well almost always)I like to travel and currently spend 4 to 5 months of the year in Cyprus to escape the gloomy cold English winters. When I was working I was fortunate enough to have travelled to a variety of countries and have been amongst other things a submarine pilot and I have supervised ship conversions. I love music, cannot imagine life without music. Love cars and F1. Currently have a 1934 Austin 7 special and I have built a couple of cars over the years.
I believe I am patient and try to listen. I enjoy helping people where ever possible.
I'm about 6 -1 and just fall within the healthy BMI band although I do think some people are obsessive about weight. I do try to keep fit and walk daily. Most people I know tell me that I look and act a lot younger than my age.
Like everyone I have memories and like to look fondly back on them from time to time but I don't like living in the past, I prefer to look ahead at what new memories await me or us.(I hope that makes sense)
I enjoy cooking but it's nicer when you are cooking for 2. Delia has a lot to answer for.
I must confess that I am no good at dancing however against that I am reasonable at DIY and repairing mechanical and electrical items. I love technology.
I have for the last 10 years been a voluntary steward at the New Forest Show, long hours but very satisfying.

If you look like then Kylie then your the one for me. However on a more practical level, I'm over 6 foot so someone tall would be good but not essential. Someone who is happy to be there and share all of lifes ups and downs, to discuss things and reach joint decisions.It's easy to state what your ideal is but at the end of the day if you are attracted to someone it all goes out of the window
