About her
I have a very positive outlook on life and firmly believe that life is too short and should be lived to the full.
I'm told I don't look my age - but that is for you to decide! My photos are all quite recent, all taken within the last 3 years. Most recent are the full length formal one, taken at a ball July 2022 and one of me enjoying a coffee (grey jacket) in the Cotswolds May 2022.
I'm also told I have a lovely smile. I do like to smile and laugh - laughter is a very important part of my life.
I'm an outdoors person. I love to walk in the countryside or by the sea, enjoying every aspect of nature which never ceases to amaze me. I also enjoy walking in London, soaking up the atmosphere and discovering new places. I do have an enquiring mind and enjoy history and finding out about the places I visit.
I've recently discovered my camera again, and will often be found in my local RHS garden, happily snapping away. Apart from photography and walking I enjoy cycling and singing (I sing in a local community choir) visiting historic houses and gardens (I'm a member of the National Trust). I enjoy concerts, the theatre and love music, including classical, pop, musicals, easy listening.
I enjoy travelling when I can - there's still a lot of the world to visit and a lot of the UK still to see. Travelling is definitely not much fun on your own though and I'm hopeful that I will find that special person to do those things with me.

I'm hoping to meet a caring, positive person with a zest for life, eager to share it with that special person.
Someone who enjoys good food and a good wine, whether that be in a nice restaurant or relaxing at home with friends or just the two of us.
I hope that person would be happy to share and appreciate some of my interests but would also be happy to share some of his own interests with me. We need to have time and space for ourselves though. In my opinion that is very important for a stable, enjoyable and lasting relationship.
