As you can see I'm nothing special, in fact I'm quite nerdy and my favourite evening is usually researching a historical project or just chatting or maybe a nice country pub. I don't own a TV and generally watch documentaries and films on youtube if I want to veg out...and I generally prefer opera and classical but rarely play any music, my idea of hell would be someone playing loud rap music indoors. Like most adults of my age my humour is sharp, witty and often non PC. I have been known to make people spit their coffee out. Oh and I can't stand jealousy or possessiveness either and never look back once a relationship ends. No hard drinkers thanks and the older I get the more I refuse to suffer fools so no LibDems or SJWs. I've been married twice so I'm in no rush to do that again but maybe third time might be lucky for me. I have two great grandchildren now and love them dearly but really don't want a guy with young kids.

I don't want foreign holidays or sporty activities. Seriously, the only qualities I'm really looking for in a man are intelligent conversation and witty banter rather than hand gliding across the Grand Canyon.I can't recall having a conversion with a man for several years without wishing after five minutes that I was at home emptying the cat's tray. Hopefully you'll enjoy historic buildings, classic cars, carboot sales, theatre, day trips, just the simple things and cats as I have four....and if you do like sports please don't expect me to go with you. Stimulate my mind, make me laugh and we'll get on fine. Opening doors and giving up your seat for a lady gets you extra Scout points.
