About her
Ok, this may be difficult but let's see.
I am a cheerful female who's glass in life is half full rather than half empty, and have been single for some time (my choice) and so am used to travelling at home and abroad on my own. Nevertheless it would be lovely to meet a genuine person to share adventures. I have a love of cooking and enjoy trying different foods and when abroad try to eat as the locals do and with the locals, where possible.
My many interests and hobbies include music- most types from Motown to rock and concerts, driving to places of interest, decorating my home, gardening, reading, meeting people, theatre shows and ballet, browsing the internet and trying to learn new languages in the evenings. Music is a great comfort. I find it cheering and healing. I am lucky enough to have a 'blast out' on occasions of ELO and other great numbers from every era, modern pop as well as the oldies. So, if you love music, a slow dance to Barry White or a boogey on a boat slowly drifting down the river on a balmy evening, then you know who you are. Come and find me!!
My family are truly special to me and loved dearly and I'm sure would be pleased for me and welcome you warmly should I find a certain someone.
My closest friend says I reminder her of the Shirley Valentine film, in that I love an adventure and shouldn't every day be adventure one way or another? Are you up for it?
About her ideal match
It sounds too formal and cold to put it down on paper like a shopping list, because meeting someone and having that initial connection is a one off thing that can happen straight away or never. Neither is there an instant ideal person or match. I think that takes a while. However, I like a warmth in someone' s eyes on meeting and a comfortable way of chatting with genuine interest for each others situation. Obviously with age comes experience and many different past times to recount and laugh about.
I like to relax but would great enjoy meeting someone who wants to get out and do things - be it a walkabout in the country or a drink by the fireside in the local. He must have a sense of humour but not at everyone else's expense, be loyal, honest and first of all a good reliable friend.
