About her
How can you describe a complex human being, the product of a few decades of experience and baggage, in just a few words?
I work part time and am involved in local politics, and life's pretty good and busy. Just missing that SO for cosy nights in and social times out.
Shared values are important. Although effectively retired from social work it remains an important part of my identity and my value base.
Have travelled unconventionally. Not particularly into outdoor pursuits but happy living outdoors (especially if there is a beach involved). Eclectic taste in music but you are more likely to find me at a rock festival than a classical concert and certainly not at a soul festival.
Mostly dress is casual and make up minimal but it's nice to dress up from time to time. Shopping is a function, not a pleasure. Adventurous scaredy-cat. More introvert/ambivert. Relaxing is just doing something different. Usually have radio or YouTube music videos playing around the house. Rarely watch TV. Occasional photographer. Occasional knitter. Sewing. Occasional gardener (food preferred). Music is best live. Can't imagine fully retiring but doing less will be nice. I work enough to meet my needs, which are few and simple. I can afford to buy my own dinner. Whatever the future holds (and I want it to hold something) I don't envisage pipe and slippers unless they are under the stars around a barbie.
No profile can be complete. There are too many facets to a diamond to see it all at once.

We will share a young outlook with a knowledge that there is still a future to be lived and new experiences to be had. You will value looking after yourself without being obsessive about diet and fitness.
Dealbreakers: I don't appreciate childish or slap-stick humour. I don't stay around people who enjoy getting drunk or doing drugs. I appreciate neither parsimony nor profligacy.
If you have a certain amount of adventurousness it will be a definite advantage (but I may need a little cajoling). I hope to travel again once I am free of certain commitments and it would be nice to have a trusted travel companion for shared experiences. You will probably be more introvert than extrovert, but it doesn't really matter.
Location. Although ultimately I'm willing to relocate, realistically at the moment I have too many commitments that are keeping me static where I am.
