I enjoy writing, reading, singing and being out in nature. Even in cities, there are beautiful parks, old railway cuttings, hills and more to explore.
Naturally curious, I like to travel - city breaks, NYC, Venice and Paris for example. Not so much into beach holidays and sunning myself for hours on end, but a dip in the sea or the pool before sipping a glass of wine in the shade would be right up my street. And I love the wildness of the scenery in Caithness or on the west coast of Scotland. Walks on quiet beaches can be life-enhancing - I'm not all about the cities!
Enjoy meeting friends in cafés and elsewhere, while also enjoying some time on my own. Cuppa? Tea, please. And a piece of chocolate or a scone would be nice - as would having someone special to share the experience with as we watch the world go by.
Traditionally, on the left in my politics though not a party affiliate. I'm driven more by my concerns on certain issues.

About her ideal match
Someone who's interested in some of the things I like and someone who's wants to spend time developing a friendship that may lead who knows where? Someone who also has different interests to me so that I can learn about new things - at least a little! Helpful if you like to walk - not mountain climbing but strolls/longer walks in and outside of the city. If you want to explore different parts of Scotland as well as travel a bit further afield now and then, that would be grand.
Beyond that, meeting someone and getting to know them is an adventure. It's impossible to say just what will make it 'right' - but I'm game for finding out!
