OK, if you are looking for some svelte, size 10 super fit person, please scroll on! I am carrying more pounds than I would like to, but I am working on it!!
My friends would describe me as quite a strong, confident, capable and caring person who usually has an opinion on most things but at the same time is interested to listen to other people's point of view and I enjoy a good discussion!
I am a "people person" and enjoy getting to know new people and hearing about their lives/interests. However, I have a tendency not to suffer fools gladly!
I have a good sense of humour and enjoy having a laugh but not at someone else's expense!
I love and appreciate all aspects of the countryside; all the seasons and all animals especially horses! At the same time though, I do enjoy trips into towns/cities to see plays/shows/musicals.
I have recently started ballroom dancing lessons, and I love them! Whilst I have dance partners at the classes, I would love to have a life partner to dance with!
I play the piano in a wonderful, local community orchestra and have been known to blow the odd note on a clarinet!
I like spontaneity and I do use "what's the worst that can happen" as a useful measure!
I have had an interesting and rewarding life so far and I would like to continue that now I am retired.
None of us know how long we have left to live but I would like to get the best out of whatever I have got!
