Friends say that I am kind, loyal, self-aware, perceptive and communicate openly. I don’t take myself too seriously, love to laugh and have fun. I’m naturally curious with an enquiring mind, eager to keep learning.

I take photographs, mostly abstract and one day may resume playing a musical instrument. I do some voluntary work. My family are very important to me, I have two wonderful grown up children who live independently. I'm a lover of all animals, especially dogs.
I live in a village on the banks of the river Dart and a few miles from the sea so enjoy getting out for coast and countryside walks. Equally at home though in the city for culture and shopping.
I enjoy simple pleasures and try to balance living in the moment whilst dreaming of the future. I would love to spend more time travelling in Europe, particularly in France, Spain and Italy.
