About her
I’m sure most of us find this bit the hardest. It’s so difficult to make yourself standout from anyone else, and even if you put a good profile together it’ll never show someone’s true personality. It’s so much nicer meeting in person on a one to one basis.
I’m on here in the hope of making new friends. I’m very easy to get along with and have a happy, sunny nature. I don’t have mood swings and hate arguing. I know people can’t be happy all the time, but I do try to be and like people the same.
I have a few lifelong friends, but they all have busy lives and live far away, so I’ve found myself wishing I had some local friends to share fun times with.
I have a little rescue dog so I do a lot of walking, which has kept me sane in this third lockdown!
I used to be a carer, so I know how to listen, be patient and sympathetic. I became very close to some of the people I took care of which I really miss now, but sadly I had to give it up as it takes it’s toll on your back what with all the lifting.

I want to be totally honest and say that I am only looking for friendship ... and for someone who has free time during the day to meet up and go places. I know that will make most move on, but I want to be honest.
I have quite a quiet life, but that doesn’t mean I don’t do anything. I like to do all the usual things such as beach strolls and then coffee after, tv, (not addicted, but I do like a good box set or Drama), swimming, yoga, taking my 2 Grandchildren to the park when allowed and visiting places of interest.
I know it might appear unusual coming on a dating site in the hope of meeting some new ‘friends’, but it’s not something you can just go and buy at the supermarket .... and I might be lucky and find someone who’s looking for the same.
