Semi retired equine reproductive veterinary assistant resides with Jack Russell Terrier mix in southeastern coastal resort area when not working with horses. Seeking two legged company to share common interests: travel, horseracing, football, camping, cooking out, trail riding, surfing culture (Im a surfer wanna be- my dog is learning to surf though), paddleboarding, kayaking, snorkeling. Its true opposites attract I think. Im somewhat reserved and introverted but wild at heart. I like to be with guys who have confident outgoing personalities and are well spoken, intelligent and charismatic. Guys that can take control and handle situations, don't put up with any bullshit from anyone but don't freak out if his woman does something out of love that could be misconstrued as "controlling" to an insecure man - like making plans for a special getaway for a special occasion. He would instead appreciate her strengths as her individuality. I like guys that know how to do guy things too- automotive knowledge, general handyman knowledge, muscles to open jars and carry luggage- logistics of maps, road trips and basic survival skills- A well read and well traveled man who also knows how to dress, what fork to use, handle himself in a variety of situations, treat and please a woman. The fairly recent change in fashion syle has negatively affected my dating choices. I grew up idolizing the rock n roll guys with long hair and clean shaves. Nowadays it's shaved heads and long beards. Sorry but totally turned off by both and especially the combo!
