Have to say that writing about oneself is never easy but here we go....I was widowed in June 2017 and have been busy looking after our then teenage Son, (now 20). Not sure I always do a good job but there isn't a manual on being a parent! Until the end of last year, (2020), I was working full time but decided to take early retirement after re-assessing my life after the loss of my husband and Covid. (I guess a lot of people have done a lot of re-assessing recently!). I've always loved cooking. Be it home cooking or being more adventurous. Always up for a challenge. I have to admit to being a homebody but have travelled over the years. And let's face it, travelling is a little difficult at the moment! Last October I was introduced to camping by my Brother. Baptism of fire as it was in October, in the middle of a storm and at a campsite in Cornwall on the top of a hill. But loved it. As soon as restrictions allow, I'll be doing it again! I see myself as an emotional person. Tend to wear my heart on my sleeve. But also have a sense of humour. Would love to hear from likeminded souls
