About her
It is hard to describe oneself however I think (and hope) the following qualities are some that are characteristic: kind, sincere, easy going, energetic, loyal, intelligent, curious, insightful and non judgemental with GSOH (oh, and, very modest :)). I really care about people, animals and the environment and love deep connection. I am very curious about people and my work as a clinical psychologist and anthropologist (which I am now winding down) is an indication of my search for understanding our species!
I am bi-cultural and well travelled and this is important to me! I am a non religious, non practising Jew and appreciate this because of family values and culture.
I love portrait painting which some say is more than a hobby, also reading, playing tennis, walking, going to the cinema, theatre, concerts, museums and galleries, eating out and sharing all of this with family and friends. I don’t seem to find much time to watch TV but I love a good film/documentary.
I adore my two daughters and we are very close although one of them lives abroad :(. I like learning new things and am open to trying new things apart from dangerous sport.I am always running down to London where I used to live when I was last in the UK, I have family and good friends there and I love the cultural life etc. I am undecided about whether I'll stay in Oxford or move back to London in the future. I am a very positive person and am grateful for all the opportunities I have had in life. I like to be helpful and care about others and the environment.
I should mention my photos are from 2021/3 and when people meet me they seem surprised that I resemble my photographs (I do look about a decade younger than I am)!
Maybe that’s because I have never acted my age :). Last, but not least, I live with my youngest daughter - she’s a 5 year year old black cat who has an inflated sense of self - called Bagheera.
BTW I prefer to speak and meet soon after messaging as that is the best way to get a sense of one another.

I suppose I am looking for someone with someone with a similar outlook on life to me. More than a tick list I am looking for someone with whom I can find connection, companionship, good open, honest communication, shared values and sharing the enjoyment of some similar activities, active and energetic, affection, laughter, travelling (preferably low carbon), valuing spending time with friends and family. I am independent and self driven and at the same time very much like sharing and probably this is something that is important to have in common with other people. Intelligence including emotional intelligence, a sense of humour and being interesting and interested in people and the well being of the world are also important qualities I look for.
