About her
I have been a widow for just over 3 years after a happy marriage of 34 years. I am easy going and generally a happy person but I am independent. (Sorry about poor photos but you will get the gist!).
I like reading, mostly crime and thrillers and I love watching films and crime dramas on TV. I like to do 1000 piece jigsaw puzzles. I also watch a variety of news channels (mainly Talk TV) and listening to different opinions on current affairs. I have an eclectic taste in music from hard rock to jazz and even some country music. I have taken over the gardening jobs but I am getting to quite like it. I like going for walks and travelling to somewhere new. I had a lovely Labrador who was my constant companion and was such a comfort over these awful last years but she died a few months ago. But the up side to this is that I can now go out and I enjoy eating out, especially Italian food but definitely not Indian or Chinese!
I definitely live in the moment and am ready to go forward with my life. I prefer a few close friends

My ideal match would be a strong character who makes me laugh and makes me feel safe. Someone I could talk to about anything and set the world to rights. It would be lovely to find a fellow traveller, even to just explore the UK, or day trips out. I don't mind if you have your own interests, I could either join in or leave you free to enjoy them. If you are a handyman and can fix the odd leak or like gardening, that would be great!
