I'm very easy going and relaxed. I am told I am good company and humorous.(not an arm bone though). I was a good sportsman (played rugby, ran x-country and was a good golfer).Still play golf but fair weather only and shin splints has put an end to the running. I have a few weird hobbies...haven't we all ... and have represented team GB in international competition. I like country auctions and picking up bargains at car boots. I'm not a complicated person and only have a few skeletons in my closet. Just would like to meet someone to spend some quality time with.
I have worked in the heavy construction industry almost all my life and I'm still working although easing off now. I am well regarded in my field but the other fields don't like me at all!! I Intend to retire at the end of 2022 and do whatever I like and it would be nice to meet someone who also does whatever I like!!

My ideal match would be an active person who likes to tootle around. I just love a good tootle. They should be intelligent, funny, .but obviously not as funny as me!!! and have a zest for life. They should understand who is the boss in the relationship and occasionally let me be in charge.
