Friends would describe me as caring, outgoing, loving, confident and fun. Definitely not sporty, although I like to watch Six Nations/England Rugby, Athletics, Cricket and Wimbledon. I am learning more about myself through spirituality and have a more than keen interest in tarot, runestones and divination of any kind. I find relaxation in Sudoku, crosswords, reading, jigsaws and the occasional computer game. I like the outdoors and love to walk or be on the water in a narrowboat. I am more at home in nature than in a pub! I like theatre trips and eating out once in a while. I like to cook for an appreciative person.
The main reason I am "sticking my toe in the water" is because I find myself alone again after bereavement and it would be nice to share my time (although not all of it!!) with a special someone.

A gentle, kind person who doesn't necessarily want to be out partying or socialising all the time. Someone who I can have a good conversation with, who is respecting of opinions and - to some degree - individual space. Someone who likes walking and nature just for enjoyment rather than exercise (IE: a five mile walk is good, a five mile hike is not!!!). Smoking of any kind is a deal breaker for me, as is heavy drinking and unnecessary rudeness.
