About him
Looking for a normal caring retired lady as someone to share life, doing normal Darby and Joan things, even doing nothing with at times, someone in the same position as me would be ideal. Perhaps they could introduce me in some new pastimes/interests.
Hopefully someone who is not too egotistical and with too much excess baggage as do not have time for such antics at my age.
At seventy I think I have a young outlook in life, healthy but showing some scars of as we all do, just a person trying to get through best as circumstances allow us meantime. Think I have a good sense of humour and would like to believe I can be amusing (well I think so anyway).
Travelled extensively worldwide throughout my working life as an inspection engineer in the Oil and Gas sector. Now travelling when safe to do so around the U.K. and exploring what is on our back door in the UK.
I would consider myself to be an average man with an interest in gardening and history and enjoy working/repairing clocks.
Weather allowing I am my garden daily, it is in a nice quiet part of the Aberdeenshire countryside, hopefully the results might be seen next year. Also, l enjoy cooking and a glass or two of red wine while doing it is quite normal for me.
