Down to earth, easy going and more introvert than extrovert. I’m naturally quite shy at first, but once I’m comfortable you’ll find I’m thoughtful, loyal and quite good company.
I like to keep fit and play group sport regularly — but I’m not competitive about it. I’m vegetarian and a huge animal lover, and I’m happy outdoors once winter has moved on — coastal walks, countryside air and simple days out.
Family is important to me. I’m a grandparent to two fantastic, chaotic grandchildren (8 and 2) who keep life lively and remind me what really matters.
I enjoy intelligent conversation without it becoming a debate society meeting. Evenings are often a mix of reading, good drama or action series (on screen only — real life should be calmer). I’ve been fortunate enough to travel off the beaten track
I don’t trust easily — I value consistency, honesty and emotional maturity. That said, I do love good banter and someone who can make me laugh. A sharp mind and a kind heart go a long way.
