I am a widower and I love to be creative. My home is in Nottingham.
I am young at heart, even though my birth certificate discloses my true age.
I love the natural world and I feel so sad when I see the destruction caused
by poorly informed people.
Ancient woodlands, rainforests and natural habitats are priceless.
I love music, any genres and styles that contain a depth of feeling.
I play the classical guitar…. badly!
I have always enjoyed photography as it embraces so many different activities - rural scenery, sightseeing, walking etc.…
I really enjoyed working in our gardens with my wife who died
from a very aggressive cancer. I truly miss caring for her, Gill suffered terribly. She is at peace now.
Whatever time I have left I do not want to be on my own. My main company at the moment are our two Siamese felines, Merlin and Tao, naughty but nice.
I am fundamentally very shy, it takes me some time to feel comfortable with strangers, a trait I shared with my late wife.
It might sound a little selfish but my wife and I were at our peak of happiness when we were sharing our lives together.
Anyone I meet would not be in competition with my late wife, we are all different.
Old rural England is by far the best location in the world. No overcrowded air ports, no stress. And most importantly a minimum of pollution created.

I have access to a cottage in the Peak district owned by a dear family member.
As long as I pay the overheads and tend the gardens it is ours to use 52 weeks of the year. Everything I have is made for two.
It is located central to many beautiful locations, Lovely days out. I work part time from home for a Medical Centre.
