I'm a fairly open, honest and tactile person and find it difficult to tell lies. I will always value our friendship as the most important relationship in my life.
I feel that trust, openness and honesty are key to a romantic relationship and if we have any disagreements then it's much better to clear the air and make certain that we have talked it out before going to bed.
I don't hold grudges as it's not in my nature and I expect you not to either as life’s too short. I have a past and it's part of who I am today. I'm optimistic and like to think the best and have a good sense of humour or so I have been told.
Life’s an adventure and I believe that we should make the most of what time we have together- it's so precious. We only live once so let's go and try and do all the things together that we have wanted to do. I'm quite an emotional person and love to spend some evenings cuddling ob a sofa with a bottle of wine and just enjoying each other's company maybe watching a romcom or a film with animals - these always make me cry e.g. Love Actually etc.,!
I don't want to be spending too much time texting back and forth - I know what I want and I am sure that you do too and the only way to be sure is to meet and then if the chemistry is right then anything goes! I'm not a half full glass type of guy - I won't settle for an OK existence - life is an adventure. I do love a bit of culture nowadays - my days of just sunbathing and staying around a swimming pool all holiday are gone. If we go to the USA then maybe I want to see The Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, an American football game, see a show or go on a cruise. You’re either all in or all out!
I have a few hobbies, dog walking, dancing, backgammon, sudoku (to keep my brain active), gardening and I like a bit of cooking although I'm not particularly brilliant at it! I'm fit for and young at heart and am willing to have a go at most things!
I am willing to relocate if necessary so long as you will allow me to bring my dog and 2 cats too.
