About her
I'd hope that friends would describe me as reliable, honest, ambitious, confident but not outspoken. I've been in self-employment for the last twenty years and expected to dress smart by day. I'm winding down a bit now though and consider myself in semi-retirement so have the time to share country walks, pub lunches and visit interesting places, though I'll be dressed more casual. I'm happier in the countryside but that doesn't mean to say I don't enjoy visiting our great cities of historical and architectural interest. In recent years I've become interested in art; I attend a weekly art class and can't believe what I've achieved and enjoy visiting art exhibitions.
An active sports competitor in my younger years - someone once told me I was a mean squash player - I like to think I'm still reasonably fit despite the joints beginning to creak a bit, but I'm still up for exploring new places and enjoy the odd dip in the pool.
I never used to be a great reader, but when my TV broke down temporarily a few months ago I started pulling the books, mostly unread, from my bookcase, most of which relate to the natural world. I have though, taken to reading biographies.
