About her
Why? I’m warm, caring, and can mix at all levels. My cup is always half full and I can find a smile in most situations. My life has been great. I found a job I loved and started my own business. Part lots of hard work, part finding a skill I didn’t know I had and part luck helped me to retire young. My hobby was sailing so (by luck) I sailed round the world for 7 years. In 2006 I got ‘washed up’ in Turkey where I stayed 9 years until the political situation started to give me concernI I still travel a lot but mainly on small, quality cruise ships or staying in little boutique hotels or small flat complexes - it would be so much nicer to have a partner. I love live shows, opera, jazz, cinema, live comedy tv etc. I’m not sporty but love a stroll along a quiet beach. I play Bridge and Backgammon but not too seriously.
I will fill in the gaps on our first date and will happily meet you halfway for our initial encounter!!

Ideal Match? I don’t think ‘ideal’ comes into it.
My Dad used to say a woman needs a best friend she ‘fancies’ rotten’😃. As I get older the best friend bit isperhaps, the more important but I still think physical attraction is important. I think if 2 people spend a lot of time together they should be able to be open about their feelings and be able to discuss everything even if they don’t always agree. My ideal partner would love the sun (not by a pool) lovely views, exploring pretty little towns and spending time in sunny climes in the winter, cruising, joining me to watch a good series on the tele and forgiving me for watching a RomCom. Analyses really don’t work. If it’s there / it’s there!!
