I like to think I am a reasonably interesting and intelligent person, confident in my own skin. I can be quite amusing I am told, enjoy light hearted fun, new experiences, witty ripostes. I have a warm heart which sadly is currently unemployed. Keep myself busy and my brain and limbs in moderate working order with various activities and societies. Not yet ready to stagnate. I did a lot of travelling to odd and strange places when younger but these days I prefer a gentler existence. Been there done it. I love where I live, so I enjoy my home and very happy just bumbling around in my garden or studio, where I do a bit of arty/creative stuff, a bit of DIY, walking in local countryside, the odd weekend away. My days of camping or roughing it are over so somewhere half decent. Sadly no dog now, life does not allow, but would love one. I like good conversation and debate. I enjoy people, I’m a sociable being, though happy with my own company but certainly not all the time. I’ve lived in the country all my adult life, I’m not a city person, although the odd foray is fun and I can scrub up when required. I enjoy wild empty places, the sea, rivers, mountains. Used to ride horses, some sailing. I am a genuine, honest person, looking for a genuine, honest guy. Distance isn’t a problem, happy to travel if I met that special person, it would be fun exploring a new area.

Obviously we are all looking for ‘that’ person, the one who clicks, makes your heart zing and your head reel but realistically would just be great to meet a decent person who would like to share and enjoy the good and the ordinary things in life; a stroll by the sea, a meal in a good pub or Sunday lunch on a cold rainy day with the fire blazing. I’m not a bad cook. I don’t need expensive holidays, cars, clothes, just someone who is warm, a bit of fun, with an engaging personality and the ability to take life for what is and what it brings. I’m quite independent and self-contained, I like my own space here and there so would be good to meet someone who feels similar, a decent honest guy ……and If you have a Landy so much the better !! I have no defined expectations just see where it leads. It would be lovely to hear from you if any of this appeals and BTW the pics are recent.
