I work as a Chartered Surveyor which allows me to travel throughout the UK and in my spare time I enjoy doing DIY projects in my Victorian house that keep me close to home.
I have one adult daughter attending the University of Arts who lives in London and with whom I enjoy a regular contact on her campus experiences.
I have been described as having a good sense of humour and a very organised worldview. I am very interested in politics and history and have the motivation to learn as much as I can about the world. Because of this, I love traveling, visiting cultural sites, and sharing my experience with others. I am a Londoner through and through and love showing people my city. Living here almost my whole life means I know all the best places to take people for a good time, and certainly know the quickest route!

Looking for a kind and considerate match with a love for learning and having a good time like me. It is very important to me that they are independent, fun, and love to travel. An ideal activity for us would be a meal at a nice restaurant, a city break, or even just a pub quiz, but I'm also very happy to try something new.
I am widowed having a number of years with my partner, and I realise how I miss a woman in my life in order to mutually plan the future together. My work takes up that social absence, but wishing to move to potentially semi or permanently retire and realise the opportunities that can be accomplished in a partnership.
