About him
My life is hardly unpleasant.
I live by the sea and in the Summer there are driftwood fires and sunsets over the Bay ;in the Winter the wind howls like a banshee and from my window I can watch the waves explode against the lighthouse.
The working week is a dull distant memory and most days I ride my bike in the surrounding countryside; I’ve been a cycling fan since my teens and always had a passion for sparkling Italian racing bikes an obsession which remains undiminished
Life is fine and yet I’ll admit to an emptiness at the heart of things; the last third of my life is underway and Im on my own, not something that I ever wanted or anticipated.
In another life I’ve been a primary school teacher , a solicitor and a law lecturer, all activities which seem alien and strangely unconnected to me now.
For many years I lived an idyllic life with my wife and two beautiful daughters in a Cotswold market town, but now my wife is gone and my daughters now have children of their own
Apart from cycling my other abiding interest has always been rock and pop music; my favourite artists include the Stones Dylan,Neil Young, Leonard Cohen, Nick Drake and Van Morrison.
I’m looking for a significant other to give my life shape and meaning.
But that’s really everything!
