I like walking, theatre, cinema, traveling, time with family and friends. I’m a keen bridge player and wish I was better. I’m a keen glider pilot and wish the weather was better. I’ve travelled much of the world but there are still plenty of places I haven’t been and want to go to. In people I like the fact that one person can be so different from another. It’s worth being clear that I don’t want to be somebody’s “other half”; I’m not interested in marriage, either a formal one or an informal one. In my experience friendship is wonderful; add in intimacy and it's even better.

Qualities in others that I value are: interesting and curious; a talker and a listener. She’s got to be mostly honest, straightforward, and reasonably self-sufficient. If she loves Laurel & Hardy we’ll probably get on pretty well. Travel/holidays are important: I want to meet a woman who would come to northern India with me.
