Hello there! I’m Vanessa, a seasoned marketing professional from the dynamic IT industry who has decided to embrace the beauty of a slower pace in life. My passion for adventure doesn't end with my career, now that I've bid farewell to the corporate hustle, I have my sights set on chasing the winter sun and to travel to new locations not yet explored. Picture us escaping the cold winter days and basking in the warmth of sunnier climes together.
Trying to regain my fitness is important to me and so you’ll regularly find me working out at the gym and playing spirited games of picket ball. Vanessa is a lady for all seasons and all occasions.
She's totally at ease in formal and informal environments and could easily appear on a programme such as "Dine with me", as her culinary, hostessing and communication skills are excellent along with her attention to detail.
She used to travel extensively with work and now has a desire to explore the world for pleasure and would like to enjoy those experiences with someone close. She's always one for a bit of sun and many of her plans would involve a warm climate but not solely for sitting on a beach or at beach bar but for discovering the culture and ambience of the location. That doesn't go to say that tapas or a fruit de mer would go amiss when coupled with a crisp glass of sauvignon blanc. At the other extreme, she recently skied in the Rockies.
She definitely likes to keep in shape going to the gym regularly, playing pickleball and getting back into golf.
Vanessa has an excellent eye for interior design and takes great pleasure in optimising the value of space in a house and utilising her significant skills as a seamstress.
I've always found Vanessa a pretty fully rounded character and I have spend the past 20 years having lunches, dinners and walks with her.
