I like travel, reading, dining out , the arts, tango dancing, cinema and have a fairly optimistic outlook on life. Since I do not enjoy most of the above on my own I would like to meet someone with similar interests and requirements and who preferably lives in London and likes to go out or stay in for a take-away and tv. I lean left , enjoy concerts and opera, dislike crowded events and live with a Bengal cat. I belong to a bilingual(French/English) bookclub and I volunteer several hours a week at an Oxfam second hand bookshop.Above all I like a fairly peaceful but colourful life with limited drama and lots of laughter. So far this year I have travelled to Spain twice (Andalucia), France once and spent 6 weeks in New Orleans which is my home town and where I still have a circle of lovely close friends.
