I am easy going with a good sense of humour. I love walking, cycling, eating out, travel (sometimes in my camper van) and gardening. I listen to music and also play Guitar and Irish Bouzouki, sing in a local choir and enjoy live concerts and local music sessions. I have Children and Grandchildren who are very important to me and I enjoy helping out family (occasionally) with childcare and DIY. I have a positive attitude to life and believe in trying new experiences and making the most of what life throws at you. I am fortunate to be able to spend time in the Lake District near where I live and in North Yorkshire (Skipton) where I have a static caravan which I visit frequently as a base to walk from and to visit family.

I am looking for someone who is kind, friendly and empathetic and who enjoys walking and/or cycling in the countryside, enjoys and ideally plays music or sings and who likes to travel in the UK and abroad. Someone who does not take themselves too seriously and enjoys a laugh and happy to have nights in chatting, playing music, reading, eating in and doing not much as well as going out for meals, concerts, theatre etc. I would want my ideal match to be reasonably active and fit and a non smoker.
