About her
I do enjoy meeting people from different walks of life and am looking to hear good news stories. Finding someone who could bring some joy back into my life would be great! I’ve spent ten years on my own and although I am in a book group and a choir, have several groups of friends, I am eager to spread my wings a little further from home. I am a lifelong learner and keen to do new things - though nothing too athletic! Although, for my 70th, I did Go Ape and braved a glider flight.I love listening to some podcasts, especially “The Rest is Politics,” and “Leading”. I enjoy visiting restaurants and gastro pubs occasionally. I haven’t visited the theatre or cinema as much as I would like either. I love listening to a range of music and would like the opportunity to get back to see musicians and aging pop stars.
I have a “fun” sense of humour but I am also a very good listener.
Fingers crossed there’s someone out there who is keen to get to know me more.

A “glass half full “ kind of person, who is able to get on with life amicably, with someone new.
The person would have to be a good listener, willing to share ideas, and not be too politically correct.
Hopefully someone who loves the great outdoors and also has an interest in the theatre and music. I am a member of the National Trust and love visiting historical cities. I also love visiting and walking in the Yorkshire Dales and Northumberland. I have a Railcard so travel needn’t be totally local.
Being open to new ideas and having stimulating discussions with someone one new would exercise my brain and bring some joy back into my life. A companion, to share special times with.
