I’m kind, energetic amiable and funny ( or so my friends tell me!). I love being outside and am a keen runner, cyclist & swimmer. I am a secondary school teacher. I’m sociable, love to chat and spend time with my friends & 2 grown up daughters. In quieter moments, I enjoy a good book, film or play.

My ideal match would be a kind and thoughtful man who would share at least some of my interests. I’d like to meet someone with whom I could enjoy bike rides at the weekends and skiing in the winter. I think that mutual respect is essential in a relationship as well as prioritising quality time together. That’s not to say we should live in each other’s pockets - I am quite independent so like to spend time with friends as well as a partner.
